This is one of our favorite fall plantings. It contains oats, forage peas, winter wheat and rye grain. It is a great early season bow hunting offering, as well as a great cold weather plot. The oats and peas attract the deer immediately, and the wheat and rye keep them coming back when the cold weather sets in. This easy to plant blend will produce lots of forage all season long.
Seeding rate is 75 to 100 pounds per acre. Plant late August to late September. Add some of our Whitetail Forage Radish to make a great draw even better!

Planted in south central PA Aug 10th and have had great amounts of rain ever since. The mix has come in nicely and is about 6-8" tall less then a month after planting.
Germination rate wasn't as thick as I thought it would be but the deer seem to be liking it so far

Had issues with drought, but finally got some rain and it's coming into pretty good.
Planted the seed and it was already coming up 4 days later. Looks to be doing fine. Delivery was fast. Very satisfied so far.
All good. But I received the 1st of 3 bags on Thursday and the other 2 on Saturday. Not sure why a separate day. Had my trip to northern Michigan planned for
Saturday. Had to go up another Saturday following with the other bags. This

Came just in time to plant it. Everything has sprouted snd its taking off. Seeds always germinate with in 5 days of planting .
Looking forward for late fall plot .

Just planted on August 12 th. Hopefully we’ll get good germination and growth.
So far so good! The seeds have been on the ground for a week now and they are starting to come up. A little early to tell what the full plot will look like. Pleased so far. The rubber meets the road when October archery starts.
