After plowing and tilling, I broadcast the seed and then pressed it into the ground with a field roller. The seed germinated within 3-4 days in early August and was a beautiful vibrant green spectacle roughly 6" tall by Labor Day. The does have been visiting the field on a regular basis the last couple of weeks. I would absolutely purchase this seed again, great product.
Not a better mix out there. Deer were in last year from opening day of season till last day. Also first thing to green up in spring. Unfortunately I did order sweet feast and clover mix and both bag had holes In them and probably 10% of the brassica seed had fell out.I also ordered radishes and when I picked the bag up the seal broke and spilt all over the floor.
