How do you make an already outstanding clover blend better? Add some premium forage chicory to it (a whopping 25% in this blend). We took the same premium chicory that was tested and used in our Seclusion Blend and added it to our Clover Blend, giving it an added punch, especially in the fall. Graze resistant and drought tolerant, this blend tops all in the industry.
Our deer utilize our clover plots from Spring green up in March until when the deep snow hits here in Upper Michigan in late December. With over 27% crude protein available, this all perennial mix will aid in antler growth and help does and fawns when they need it most (spring). This blend is a key to year round nutrition.

After many years of using other brands with minimal success, I came across you tube videos talking about Northwoods Whitetails, after watching the videos I switched to John's seed and Harpers Growing Solutions products, last fall I broadcast his clover, this spring I frost seeded his clover/ chicory blend and added more chicory. My plots look like a green carpet. Thanks John!!!

We are in a bit of a drought so nothing is growing that great, but that's no fault of the seed.

Everything came in right and fast, I’ll be planning first week of September Southeast Georgia.
Establishing three new clover and chicory plots this fall. We did one two years ago and it’s by far the highest attraction we have summer thru mid fall once the snow hits. Soil test and proper seed bed prep are needed to ensure success, well that and seed from Northwoods. I am certain we shall have the same excellent results as before.
Cleared 1/4 acre of VERY rough ground. I was in a pinch for time (mid Aug in Upstate NY) so basically just raked the area after it was cleared, broadcast the clover chicory blend, and hoped for rain. No soil test, no fertilizer - not recommending that of course - i just didn't have the time. I did get about 1/2 " rain within 2 days of planting. Germination within 3 days. Deer eating within 2 weeks. This spring (May) it looked awesome! Nobody beats Northwoods seeds and service and i have tried them all.
Started getting serious into food plotting this year. Have been adding more and more. My order is always delivered promptly, I can easily track it and a lot of great information out there by John to fall back on. So happy I decided to give Northwoods a try!
We will see as time goes along if the seed produces whitetail action like we believe it will. Just started planting.
Broadcast Clover Blend Plus Chicory, atop cover crop of Cereal Rye on TSI logging trails under extremely dry conditions. Received an inch of rain the following day.
Forty- eight hours after rain, both the Cereal Rye and Clove Blend Plus Chicory had germinated and are rapidly growing; stabilizing the logging trails, reducing erosion and providing additional food source. Thanks Northwoods!!

It hit the ground in May, and I was skeptical when laying it down. At nearly double the price of local seed, I was hoping it would not disappoint.
It did not disappoint me at all thus far. Slow start, due to some wonky weather here in Southern Ohio but as temps warmed up - this stuff came on like gangbusters! It looks great and I would highly recommend their seed.Great people to chat with on the phone as well, if you just need clarity or advice.

Started sprouting within eight days.We had a couple slight rains in that time but amazing how quick it's coming up.
