Full Spectrum 3-Cal Liquid Lime (1 Gallon)
3-Cal is superior because it has the surfactant that no other Liquid Lime on the market. The surfactant will help to penetrate the soil and move through the soil profile more efficiently. It also has an additive that helps 3-Cal remain in liquid form and not solidify. Our competitor’s product will chunk up or turn into a brick and ours will not. Even with a decent pH, adding 3-Cal is beneficial because it raises pH while opening your soil and giving plant available calcium.
3-Cal Liquid Lime will raise your pH quickly and will last all year! The particle size is very small. It can react in the soil almost immediately, while also delivering calcium to the plants. 3-Cal will improve soil structure, raise pH, and provide plant available calcium, all in one product.
Mixing Instructions:
- In a 5-gallon bucket, fill it about halfway with water.
- Add in your rates of each product (1 product per bucket). Mix well. A drill with a paddle/paint mixer bit works the best. Add mixture to sprayer and dilute even more (at least 10gal of water per one gallon of 3-Cal)
Application Instructions:
- 3-Cal Liquid Lime should be mixed with at least 10 gallons of water. We do not recommend letting the 3-Cal solution sit for an extended amount of time.
- Rinse out your sprayer with water when you are done spraying. It is also recommended that you remove all filters from your sprayer.
- Generic Rates without recommendations or a soil sample: 2-3 gallons per acre (we recommend getting your soil tested for more accurate rates.)

We have several what we call micro plots on the property we hunt. Just little openings in the woods where they can get some sunlight. This past spring before frost seeding our existing plots I noticed the one plot had a good bit of moss in it. Knowing that moss grows in more acidic soil, I ordered some 3-Cal Liquid Lime to raise the pH in the soil. We use nothing but Northwoods Whitetail seeds. We like the Seclusion 360 the best for our micro plots. And John Komp is always very helpful. Any time I have a question, John is always willing and available to answer it. Can't thank him enough. Works great. I have very poor soil (5.1 ph on first soil test) in north central pa where my hunting camp is. Have been applying pellet lime to raise the pH but cant change it that much with 1 application. The liquid lime works great as a supplemental way to boost the pH. Lasts for a full growing season Roughly 6 months. Have convinced other guys at camp to use it to help their plots as well.
Works very well in Atlanta MI. After struggling for three years to grow OM in sand and raise ph. The entire line of products plus your seed and method of burying the seeds 🤫(till) works 100 percent. Keep up the great job helping us
I haven't used it yet, I actually don't know that I'll even use it this year but I have it for next year because my soil test came back. Not needing lime in most areas and meaning very minimal and some others so I'll probably use it next year when I replant some clover
Mixed one gallon of 3-Cal lime AND one quart of Foliar into 25 gallons sprayer. Sprayed just over one Acre of Seclusion 360 and 3” Brassica split plots- Everything is Healthy Green and looking Great - will be using this product again next year BUT a couple weeks Earlier !

Applied per recommendation and mixing instructions started with a pH of 6.2 haven’t checked since applied will check this coming weekend Sweet feast was planted a day after application about two weeks ago with in a week seed started popping out of ground

So much easier to apply than spreading barn lime by hand! I also appreciated combining it with liquid fertilizers and spraying all at the same time. I didn't have any problems with my sprayer clogging. Followed directions and it worked great.

Sent my order in on Monday, had the product on Friday! John literally called me on the phone and helped me calculate what I needed. I was about to order way to much and although he could have made the sell and let me spend the money he instead cut my order in half and educated me on the stuff. Good people here! Easy to mix and use. Ideal for getting into small remote plots with an ATV sprayer. Being I just put Fall plots in , I can't comment on success. I'm more curious to see if or how it improves my soil tests next Spring.
I just used the 3 cal on my food plots July 5th 2025. I decided to do something different and actually follow directions for the product. My little rig is a 25 gallon pull behind John Deere 3 nozzle sprayer. I had zero issues using my #3 nozzle for the application and it went on flawlessly. I look forward to see everything grow this season!
Found it much easier to apply than walking with 50# bags of ag lime, being 72 years of age. We'll see how it does in the coming weeks.
3 years ago we started with very poor soil last year we used 3 cal for the first time and our clover plots look fantastic this year
This product has been very beneficial and fairly easy to use. The mixing instructions are a must before putting 3 cal in your tank. One application raised my ph from 5.5 to 6.5.
