NORTHWOODS PURPLE TOP TURNIPS
A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY FALL FOOD PLOT
PLANT 5-6 POUNDS PER ACRE
$ 11 PER 2 POUND BAG
Purple top turnips are an easy to grow, short season brassica species. They grow rapidly and are an excellent choice for fall food plots. This dual-purpose plant produces a large purple top tuber (bulb) and leafy foliage that can both be grazed. Because they provide a high-protein and high-energy food source, turnips are one of the more popular food plot plants for whitetail deer.

This is the only place i will buy seed. My order this year we had our seed germinate within the first 4 days. Over the last 3 years of buying seed from Northwoods we have not had a bad experience. Between ordering, shipping, receiving everything was outstanding.
Turnips came up real quick, planted day ahead of rain . Looks great! Then mother nature showed us who's in control, no rain for 15 days, temps in 90s,all dead!
The seeds looked really clean and fresh, I just planted it this past weekend so I won’t know much more until a couple weeks have passed
Purple Top Turnips are growing well after roughly 3 weeks from planting in mid Michigan.
I have been buying from northwoods whitetail for at least 5 years now. I made the mistake on one plot and bought from a different seed supplier. Northwoods delivers every year with the best seed, best mix, best germination. Very happy with all of my purchases from Northwoods
