RUTABAGA- 2 pound bag
Rutabaga is an easily-grown, annual plant in the brassica family. The plant produces a huge yellowish root/tuber that gets as large as 4 to 6 inches in diameter and it has the characteristic purple shoulders. Rutabaga should be planted early because it takes 90-110 days to reach full maturity. It tolerates cool weather quite well and is a great addition to most food plot programs. Plant 2-3 pounds in a mix or 6 pounds alone per acre. A shallow planting depth of 1/8 " is required.

John had my order of rutabagas delivered in 3 days and had germination 7 days later along with his milo and sugar beets. Deer are going to eat well this Fall
Got them planted into my Red Milo and cow peas about 3 weeks after the planting date of the Milo. I have a good stand of rutabagas coming up. Looking forward to to seeing how the deer like them.
Fast shipping, will try to report back as to how they turn out. Almost to late to plant and short on rain but needed something to make up for my failed attempt at sugar beets.

Just spread on a Milo, sugar beat and winter peas plot. 1 acre total. We have had ran here in upstate ny so let’s hope for the best.
As always seed arrived in timely fashion. Planted it with the red milo and even in our dry conditions, seed is up and looking good at this time.

Northwoods seeds are the best
Delivered quickly. Received immediate rain. Seems to have germinated quickly. I am in the midwest on small 60 acre farm just outside suburbs with no big woods or Ag crops besides hay. Cant wait to see how well the deer eat it this fall.
